Canada Day 2011
My sister and I sailed along lake Ontario in celebration on a traditional 165 foot three masted Schooner boat cruise.
An entrepreneurial event held in Toronto hosting world class speakers.
In April 2012, the Ashmore Century Farm was torn down. Since built in 1840's, there have been generation upon generation of livestock. Even though I'm saddened to have the most symbolic piece of our family fall to the ground I remember my ancestors who worked hard to support our family.
I welcome another addition to the Prowse family: Ezra. I’ve had the pleasure of documenting this family’s growth and so I found myself at their lovely Violet Creek Farm once again experiencing the wonderful caos of chickens, shetland lambs, fainting goats, and children.
These girls have the freedom to grow and have been able to fulfill their sense of curiosity. Fearlessness is in their blood as oldest Elsie brings me a chicken to pose with.
The other two girls are seen here enjoying each other’s company on the swing set. No need to tell each other to hug. After they accepted me as someone who could push them on the swing they opened up and showed me their sisterly love.
Ezra being the first boy in the family has a lot to catch up on. No pressure though baby Ezra, you have wonderful parents will let you be who ever you were meant to. Stay happy.
